The Trial of Leonora

Riioos: In great despair we call to court our TrailFire and StarMother, Lord and Leader of our Banners.

Yanares: What right do you have, Riioos, to call court for Leonora? We have no allowance to call her actions to culling. She lives and breathes law and life.

Riioos: Did you not hear that this call to court brings me great despair? The precedence have been set. Our court has ruled before for events less grievous.

Vigo: Burning tears grace all of our cheeks, but Riioos is right. Great death has been brought to the Terrans by our Lord of Light. It must be discussed and a judgement must be made.

Leonora: Yanares, I welcome your defense and will always remember it, but they are right. Brothers, Sisters, Knights of StarForge, I have never claimed life-perfection, absent of marring nor blight. Though bright shines my light and strong is my will and glory, darkness at times can obstruct my wisdom and fury.

Milra: What have you done, LadyLight, surely we can—

Leonora: You all know most of my time is spent on their star, which they call Sol. It reminds me of our home. Since my victory there against our great enemy I have found comfort in its warmth. They have taken to worshiping their Sol and by extension myself, for my-self has given person and power to their star. Long enough have I tarried there that the star fire has bound itself to me. In a moment of their greatest praise to me I thought to grace them with my glory. Show them the being in their worship and adoration. Sadly, too close I drew to one of their fire mountains they call Vesuvius and it erupted, killing tens of thousands.

Capri: My Lord—

Leonora: Grieved I was, grieved that those Terrans covered in burning rock saw not my arrival nor my glory. Looking to the sky for hope and wonder, they were met with ash and fire; my visage never revealed to their horrified eyes.

Riioos: What puni—

Leonora: Though it wounds me deeply, bind myself I will to Sol. I will leave it not. Worship me from afar the Terrans must, as surely they will seek to do. Does this court find my ruling just and wise?

Riioos: Yes, LadyLight.

Capri: Yes, StarLord

Vigo: Of course, Leonora.

Leonora: Excellent. Court, then, dismissed.
