Leonora: Mighty host, though we gather here under events dour, our goal to dole out justice and punishment, I must say it does me good to see you all. At last I am recovered. You each have saved my life countless times, and thus to each of you I owe mine. The stars beckon our service and the dust requires our lance. Long may you—
Riioos: Leonora, the time for pleasantries and formalities has passed. We have work to do here, for great wickedness has been done.
Capri: Wickedness may reach beyond the mark if describing what has happened is your aim, Riioos.
Riioos: A people created. We have forced life to be in this world, under no order nor allowance. It is a trespass and a betrayal of what this new world was meant to be, if it had been able to evolve on its own.
Peseran: We do not know past doubt that the events of our arrival is what caused this blossom of life.
Canter: Perhaps it was the energies of Yanares and Rus that spurred the growth of new life, but perhaps it was not. Leonora, there is no way that we could know if their eruption on Terra would have compelled or created the life that now ambles there.
Riioos: The violence that we have subjected them to! They are barely past the stage of walking and the world they are growing in burns and eats them. They did not ask for this.
Rus: May I, in humility, present thoughts in word regarding these events?
Gema: Speak sister. Of course, all may be heard.
Rus: I have done what is in my power to make their new world livable for them. Wracked I have been with guilt. I have given them homes, and I have taught them to grow. There is much progress and wonder from our energies down there. They have begun to learn to live from it.
Leonora: Yanares, you have remained quiet. What say you?
Yanares: For truth? I can not believe this be the topic of our gathering and our discourse. There was nothing I could have done otherwise, and I am to be punished? One moment I am beating back a singularity from ending my brother, Score, and all of a sudden we are, all of us, shot into a new world. Have any of you dedicated your brilliant minds to the task of the great riddle unsolved? Where are we, what is our route home? We should be at council to discuss that, not at a trial for the guiltless. I collided with Rus and together we struck Terra, as we are calling that rock. The energy that erupted was to save us from the fall. We did not know that it would make these walking entities. They would not exist without us, should not we expect their gratitude, even their worship?
Score: My brother is right. Not that he could have done otherwise. But he is also not responsible for how they treat one another after the fact. So there is a new race of people that walk on Terra. What care do we have? When we are gone we will forget about them. We have a war to get back to. Let them worry about their own skirmishes.
Capri: We may not get back.
Score: Excuse me?
Capri: We may not get back, Score. You pretend as though there is no fault to be taken, that they ought to be left to their own devices, but if we can not leave we may be tied to that new race eternally. We already know that their time moves much slower than our own. Millions of their years have gone by since we arrived and it has felt as just a few of ours. We have already been a significant part of their existence, if not its genesis. Our impact upon them cannot be ignored.
Statminarious: Oh come now, brothers and sisters. We have all nearly perished and yet we all are here now. Alive and well. The thunder, dust, and darkness ripped and prodded us. Chased us to the brink. We have saved not only our retinue and banners, but the greatest threat to our cause was brought here with us and the harrowing battle in which Leonora engaged on the close star has left our enemy slain and floating through the empty space of this strange realm. We won. Can you not see? Sure, perhaps now we are stuck here, but did not every star-child one of us take oaths that our lives were forfeit to the cause of Star Shimmer and Light. This should not be a trial. It should be a feast.
Milra: Is there not a way that we can see eye to eye on this? We have been through so much together and it would be foolish to allow this to break us apart after everything we have…
Leonora: Knights, Knights, please quiet yourselves. I agree with Milra and Statminarious, there should be celebration. Without Gregarous, the ash and dust will not fight much longer in the realm of our home. Here though we must be careful in what we do. We know not when or if we will be able to return home and due to the immense power this realm grants us we should exhibit caution when it comes to interacting with the beings now created. Furthermore, I encourage your creativity and the fulfillment of your own pursuits. That is, in fact, the world I fought for and would not keep it from you in this new realm. I would also encourage help of the new Terran species as you can with your own gifts.
Riioos: So there is to be no punishment? No correction?
Leonora: Please, Riioos, you must be able to extend forgiveness to your fellow knights in such circumstances.
Capri: Riioos has a point, Leonora. If we are to be here for an undetermined amount of time, we cannot live lawlessly in relationship to this race of Terrans. We look to you for guidance. I know exhaustions must linger from your bout, but your decision is needed here. A precedent for future infractions must be set.
Leonora: Fine, fine. Yanares, Rus, you will be bound to two of the rocks that surround this star so that you cannot interfere directly with the Terrans. Rus your home will be the closest one, which we have named…
Vigo: Venus
Leonora: Venus. I feel like your specific gifts will help them. So I do not want you to get too far away. And Yanares you can have the next one…
Vigo: Mars
Leonora: Mars. Now enough of all this. The time of feasting has come.
